University of Dhaka's D unit test deferred The admission test of D unit of Dhaka University will be held on December 18 instead of December 4. The deans committee took the decision at a meeting held at the administrative building on Wednesday with vice-chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique in the chair. The meeting also decided that Agrani Bank, Sonali Bank and Janata Bank, Dhaka University Branch would remain open on October 17 for selling the admission forms to the applicants.

Admission Tests rescheduled at Rajshahi University The Rajshahi University authorities have rescheduled the admission tests for first year honours courses under the 2009-2010 academic session. Admission tests will be held on departmental basis for first year honours courses at 4:00pm instead of 3:30pm on the dates scheduled earlier. The admission test of the law and justice department will be held from 4:00pm to 5:00pm instead of 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The admission test of the music and drama department will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm instead of 3:30pm to 4:30pm. A section of students will seat for law and justice department admission test at the Rajshahi College center on October 18. The registrar of the university Professor Dr MA Bari said on Tuesday that the admission tests for first year honours courses will continue till October 25.

SUST to introduce digital admission test > The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology will introduce digital admission test for honours course from 2009-10 academic session. > The admission test will be held on October 30. > University sources said admission seekers will not be required to collect admission forms and there is no need of filling up admission forms for admission in the university this year. > Any candidate can appear at admission test by registration going to the message option of any mobile phone. > As per the new rule under digital system, the candidates have to go to message option and write the roll numbers of SSC and HSC exams and unit and then it has to be sent to a four-digit number. > Fees for admission test will be realised with the sending of message. > In return message, a specific code number will be given to the senders. New rules of admission in DU at Dhaka University DU General Committee for admission decided to open two new units named CHA for institute of fine Arts admission and MA for Medical and Dental Colleges. Minimum requirement: KHA unit: 7 (without 4th subject) Newly opened departments Earth and Environmental science and Engineering & Technology will be under KA unit. Available seats for KA, KHA, GA and GHA units are 1398, 2332, 900 and 650 respectably and total seats for CHA unit is not decided yet.
